Rural Norfolk, covered

If getting to a clinic is the problem, that is exactly who this service is for.

Can’t get to a clinic?

Physio that travels to you

Rural Norfolk is not always kind to clinic hours. If you are housebound, recovering from surgery, living in a care home, or a busy professional who cannot sit in a waiting room — you still deserve high-quality care.

Your home

Treatment where you actually live and move — stairs, chairs, the garden path.

Care homes

Nursing and residential homes, with staff involved where that helps your recovery.

Hospital

Support around admission or discharge, so you are not left waiting for clinic space.

Online

Video or phone when travel is hard, or you want a quicker check-in.

How it works

Three simple steps. No cookie banners, no broken booking calendars — just a conversation, then care.

What I can help with

Community physiotherapy, so the plan fits the house you live in — the stairs, the chair, the walk to the kitchen.

Musculoskeletal

Back and neck pain, joints, sports or work injuries, weakness, and strength & conditioning.

Neuro-physiotherapy

Stroke rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, spinal injury and other neurological conditions.

After surgery

Hip, knee and shoulder replacements, fractures, and general post-operative rehab.

Respiratory

Breathlessness management, COPD, asthma and confidence with daily activity.

Mobility & falls

Walking, balance, vestibular rehab, and getting back on your feet after a fall.

Older people's care

Arthritis, long-term conditions, and practical help to stay independent at home.

Treatment, without the jargon

Mobility work

Had surgery, or a fall that has made walking harder? We look at strength, technique and whatever else is holding you back, and get you moving again.

Exercise therapy

The foundation of every plan. A programme written for your specific weakness, pain or function — not a print-out from a drawer.

Manual therapy

Massage and joint mobilisations to settle aches and help you move more freely, used alongside exercise rather than instead of it.

Electronic muscle stimulation (EMS) is also available after injury, to help with pain, movement and muscle function.

About

Hello — I’m Tom

Chartered physiotherapist, offering remote and mobile care in Dereham, Norwich and the villages around. I trained with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences, then an MSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Essex, and I have worked as a senior community physiotherapist in the NHS ever since.

I started TOPhysio because people in rural Norfolk were waiting too long, or could not get to a clinic at all.
